0% of European radiators have a ½” BSP thread, and NLB’s flagship Autovent for this tapping size is the HV30C.

This valve has a distinctive style that looks good on towel rails as well as radiators, especially if the matching blanking plug replaces the cheap blanking plug at the other side of the rail. Because the tapping is large enough to contain the valves operating mechanism, the valve sits only 5mm proud of the radiator. The high quality chrome surface helps to finish off designer radiators.

The HV30C has a cartridge, so it can be replaced if it eventually wears out: all Aladdin Autovents have a 5 year operating guarantee.
