Since the release of our Taurus range we have since had some
newcomers which are certainly worth a look. From hinges to padbolts,
door bolts and latches, to garage door holders. We have a whole host of
new products that will be available this coming summer, which will be
announced on our
Facebook and
Twitter so you’ll be the first to know.
We’ve put together some information on a selection of the products to
give you some inside information on the new gate and door hardware
joining our Taurus range this summer.
Our Senior Garage Door Holders (wide/narrow lintel) are used to hold
open garage and barn doors over 900mm wide. The lintel bracket allows
the angle of opening to be adjusted and the hold open device
automatically engages as soon as the door is opened – ideal for hands
free operation. For doors that are under 900mm wide such as a shed door,
we also have the Junior Garage Door Holder. All three door holders have
an epoxy black finish and can withstand occasional damp or wet
conditions in rural and sheltered areas.
On the subject of agricultural applications, we also have a Heavy
Padlock Protection Bar available this summer which provides high
security as the hasp features a strong cast iron housing to cover and
protect the hammer from intruders who are attempting to break the lock.
The finish is hot dipped galvanised, allowing it to withstand a moderate
salt atmosphere.
If you have previously had issues with animals escaping stables
because they’ve been able to work bolts loose, we have the solution for
you. The Spring-Loaded Animal bolt secures flush mounted doors and gates
in a closed position, you’ll never have to worry about your animals
escaping again! This bolt comes with our countersunk screws.
For ease of use when securing the top and bottom of gates or doors,
we’re introducing our bow handle bolt. The extended length of the handle
allows easy reach, especially for the tops of doors, plus they remain
closed under any tension. To cover a range of environments our bolt
comes with an epoxy black or hot dipped galvanised finish, for rural
sheltered areas or industrial and urban areas with a moderate salt
atmosphere – we’ve thought of all eventualities.
